Eagle Nebula – Messier 16
The Eagle Nebula, also known as the Star Queen Nebula, Messier 16 (M16), and NGC 6611, is a star forming region located in Serpens.
It is a well-known emission nebula surrounding a young open star cluster. The cluster associated with the nebula consists of a number of young stars belonging to the spectral classes O and B.
