The Eyes Galaxies, also known as Arp 120, are a pair of interacting galaxies located in the Virgo Cluster. The galaxies lie at an approximate distance of 52 million light years from Earth and have an apparent magnitude of 10. Their designations in the New General Catalogue are NGC 4435 and NGC 4438.

Centaurus A is a peculiar galaxy located in the southern constellation Centaurus. It is the fifth brightest galaxy in the night sky, the nearest giant galaxy to the Milky Way, and one of the nearest radio galaxies to Earth.
Its exact type is uncertain, but it is usually classified either as a giant elliptical or lenticular galaxy. The galaxy’s exact distance from Earth is also uncertain, but estimates generally range from 10 to 16 million light years.

The Cartwheel Galaxy is a lenticular galaxy and ring galaxy located in the southern constellation Sculptor. The galaxy lies at an approximate distance of 496 million light years from Earth. It is about 150,000 light years across in size, which makes it slightly larger than the Milky Way.
The galaxy’s unusual appearance resembles that of a wagon wheel and has earned it the nickname Cartwheel. The galaxy has been tidally distorted by a collision with another galaxy into the ring-and-hub or cartwheel structure for which it is known.

NGC 1277 is a lenticular galaxy located in Perseus constellation. It lies at a distance of about 220 million light years from Earth.
The galaxy has an apparent visual magnitude of 14.7. It is notable for having an extremely heavy supermassive black hole at its centre, one of the largest black holes ever found.

NGC 6872, also known as the Condor Galaxy, is a massive barred spiral galaxy located in the southern constellation Pavo.
The galaxy has a distinct shape of the integral sign. It has an apparent visual magnitude of 12.7 and is approximately 220 million light years distant from Earth. The galaxy is currently in the process of interacting with a lenticular galaxy, IC 4970.
The smaller IC 4970 – only a fifth the size of its larger neighbour – has an apparent magnitude of 14.7. It is located 1.1 arcminutes to the north of NGC 6872.
