Here are some of the things to see in November:

  • 6 pm, southwestern sky – Saturn visible above the horizon
  • 5:30 am, eastern sky – Mars appearing above the horizon before sunrise
  • 6:30 am, eastern sky – Venus and Jupiter visible near the horizon in mid-November
  • 9 pm, southern sky – Pisces constellation, recognizable for the Circlet of Pisces asterism
  • 9 pm, southeastern sky – Aries constellation with the bright stars Hamal and Sheratan
  • 9 pm, southeastern sky – Triangulum constellation with the famous Triangulum Galaxy (Messier 33)
  • 2 am, eastern sky – Leonid meteor shower, peaking on the night of November 17 to 18
